(Carnegie, Pennsylvania -- April 2, 1998) -- Applied Analytic Systems has released NeuroWeb-CGI, a 32-bit application that allows developers of NeuroShell 2 neural networks to execute trained networks from their Internet or Intranet Web Server. The application was developed for licensed users of Ward Systems Group's NeuroShell 2 Professional development system for Windows 95/NT.

Used to address a variety of prediction, forecasting, and classification problems, NeuroShell 2 is a professional development environment for modeling, designing, and training neural networks. Once trained, neural network scientists/developers have the option of executing their networks from Windows applications using the royalty-free runtime DLL that ships with the NeuroShell 2 system. Using NeuroWeb-CGI and the NeuroShell 2 runtime requires no special configuration; this allows NeuroWeb-CGI to be used on any Windows-based hosted server that allows CGI scripts to be executed.

NeuroWeb-CGI is available directly from Applied Analytic Systems. The application's list price is $229 for a single web URL. NeuroWeb-CGI requires the 32-bit NeuroShell 2 runtime DLL, an ISAPI compliant web server such as Microsoft's IIS or Personal Web Server, O'Rielly's WebSite on Windows NT Server (or Windows 95).
